My 'American Dream' took me on a few journeys I had only dreamt of before....this is my story of events....................A once in a lifetime holiday to America with my friend Lynne Gaskell - 3 weeks and this took us to Los Angeles were upon we met a couple at the airport, the guy was my postman of all things !! We hired a car and went to find the hotel, almost died on the freeway in the process, Lynne & me almost crying in terror as it was madness. We did so many things on this trip it blew my mind. We  participated in a Roseanne Barr show in the front row of the audience ( Dame Edna was guest). Roseanne actually comments on my Tattoos as she starts the show although you can't hear her you can see she is mouthing the words. We got this program through on UK channels a few months later. We visited Paramount Studios with 2 male bit actors we had just met on the show and stood outside to have a photo of the famous gates where silent movie stars once trod. We ventured around the Hollywood Hills to see all the famous peoples houses, stood outside Madonna's old house on the hillside (Madonna & Sean lived there) beautiful views of the mountains. We stood by the Hollywood sign and took photos, surprised me how actually small they were. It was a joke from our Hotel that we hadn't seen the famous sign and we had been there for days, it would appear that we weren't looking at the right angle and it had been there all along. Our hotel was the famous Roosevelt - Marilyn lived here and Montgomery Clift for a period of there lives. I took a ride up to the floors and stood outside the suites they once lived in - hoping for some feedback but nothing happened except I took photos....................still to be continued

Andy Warhols Factory Club - One night only !! (Sept 17th L.A Trip 1998)

Me and Lynne took part in this event in L.A at the Martin Lounge on Melrose Ave - they were filming the event for a C4 Documentary. In attendance were Misss Holly Woodlawn,(famous for Lou reeds 'Walk on the wild side)  Joe Dallasandro, Tommy Chiffon, Vida DeVille, Bijoux Deleuxe, DJ Sean Mace.We were chatted up by a few members of a band who appeared to be 'well known' but we had no idea who they were ? Also got chatting to the director and got an invite back to his 'pool' for a swim lol (needless to say we didn't go, once again wonder what we missed)

What an experience, helicopter flight over the grand Canyon where they played music by 'Enya' reducing me to tears, very spiritual moment. We also went to the Waxworks and met a lot of dead people as well as such people such as Elvis,Jon Bon Jovi and Brad Pitt. This is my moment with Jon doesn't look very happy does he ? We partook in a 'salsa' evening which was fun at 'Rio' nightclub and spent many of the hours in and out of fantastic hotels eating their buffet food. We had to do the whole 'stetson' experience and this is me waiting to leaving Las Vegas looking all slim and healthy for once.

Trip to Florida (Miami, Islamorada, Key West, The Keys)- 2003

Miami Beach on a warm summers day with Mike and walking down the street we spied upon the house of the late Gianna Versace across from the beach. (pic) We got evacuated in Miami by Hurricane Ivan ? and had to cut short our Miami trip, we moved down the keys a day earlier.
 

Swimming with the Dolphins in Islamorada at 'The Theatre of the Sea' What a brilliant life experience that was, here are some of the photos, such beautiful creatures, gentle and loving despite being in captivity. L.A CONFIDENTIAL

• Hollywood sign visited and driving around the Hollywood Hills, could of swore we saw Cher walking her dog.
• Trip to see Madonna's previous house overlooking the most beautiful scenery
• Went on a Hollywood Tour with 'Graveline' - sat in the front of a hearse with driver 'Duncan', dressed in shorts, usa flag top and huge wedge platforms and white Versace sunglasses lol. visited Westwood Cemetery Marilyn Grave, lots of murder scenes and death spots inc Divine, Janis Joplin.
• Universal studios, had a photo taken with Clark gable on the bed
• CBS Studios took part in a TV show 'Roseanne Barr Show' guest star was Dame Edna Everage
• Hired a car and toured Beverly hills, Hollywood Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Bel Air, sunset strip, stars home's tours
• Stayed at The Roosevelt Hotel where Marilyn had her first photographic session by the pool - thought the huge hall was haunted (Many years later saw it on program most haunted) . Took a photo in the famous Marilyn mirror situated now by the lift, but used to grace her bedroom. (people say they have seen her image reflected)
• Bar Marmont saw a few celebs - Tamara Beckwith with a small clan at the next table
• Viper Rooms, had to move as seats reserved for famous playboy model
• Rainbow bar & grill (Marilyn s visited on first date with Joe Dimaggio)
